Kinder Rodeo

Each year in February Massey Ranch Elementary has a Kinder Rodeo. No bareback riding, barrel racing or mutton-busting, but lots of fun for the kids. There was a 'dress up like a rodeo clown' contest, panning for gold (rocks spray painted gold) and all sorts of stuff. It was mass chaos with about 120 kindergartners running around and parents close behind taking pictures. By the end of the day, most were saying 'howdy' because that's what cowboys do and some (including Jenny) had moved their bandannas down and tied it around their leg...because that's what rodeo clowns do :)

After all the fun, Jenny was ready to go to the real rodeo! (that'll be another post)
