On Sunday May 17, 2009 Jenny had her first dance recital. It was an extremely busy weekend. Dress rehearsal began at 11:30 on Saturday and lasted until somewhere around dinner time (lost track of time). On Sunday, we got to the auditorium at 1:00 to apply way too much make up and get the girls ready. The girls did crafts, watched movies and had snacks before and in between their performances. Afterwards I found out that Jenny had five packages of gummy 'fruit' snacks. Yes...I said five. Turns out that she took packages of them to every mo that was back there asking them to please open them. She intentionally did not go to the same mom twice.
In any case, it was a cute show. We were all exhausted by the end of the weekend, but it was well worth it. We weren't allowed to take pictures during the show, but here are a few of the behind the scenes shots. :)

Fantastic pictures Brig. Jenny is a smart little cookie. Jess would love to learn those gummy snack smuggling tricks from Jenny.
Her eyes are gorgeous in those close-ups with the flower - they pop with that blue color!!
